Johnny Jackson's Radio Atlanta memorabilia

This letter from Allan Crawford was sent out to the Mi Amigo during Radio Atlanta's test transmissions. It was addressed to Johnny's father John Thompson, alias DJ Bob Scott. At the time the letter was written, the station was still trying out different frequencies. They eventually settled on 1493 kilohertz, 200.9 metres. We are not sure precisely what Crawford is getting at with his comments about the rival station, Radio Caroline, nor who - or what - ASA is. Mr. Thomas was Radio Atlanta's chief engineer. Mr. Leggatt was an American technical consultant who was helping with the station launch.
