Caroline Revival Hour memorabilia

‘Disc & Music Echo’, 1st March 1969, reveals plans for a new station to be called Radio Andorre. Cutting courtesy of George Morris.

‘Disc & Music Echo’, dated 1st March 1969, reporting on the Caroline Revival Hour.
‘Disc & Music Echo’ the following week, 8th March 1969, still reporting on Radio Andorre. Both cuttings courtesy of George Morris.

Radio Andorre never did make it onto the air but, later in 1969, programmes were broadcast from that same transmitter under the names of Radio 428 and Radio Rupert. They were the forerunners for what later became Radio Geronimo, a short-lived, but fondly remembered, progressive music station which broadcast from Monte Carlo. For more information about this station, see www.radiogeronimo.com.
