The Final Countdown......

George Morris's press cuttings.

Over the next twenty pages, we have some press cuttings from the days leading up to and following 14th August 1967 - the last day on the air for most of the offshore stations, and the day that Radio Caroline challenged the new law. Our thanks to George Morris and Stuart Russell for providing the cuttings.

With a month to go, the date of implementation of the new Act is announced - Daily Telegraph 14th July 1967.
