Radio Caroline's proposed programme format, 1964.
In July 1964, shortly after the merger between Radios Caroline and Atlanta, Caroline's original
Programme Director Christopher Moore issued a document instructing the disc-jockeys on what sort of music to play when.
Although Christopher issued the document to the DJs on both ships, as far as The Pirate Radio Hall of
Fame can ascertain, he was only in charge of programming on Radio Caroline North because, despite the announced
merger, the southern ship was still owned and operated by the former Radio Atlanta team who followed their own
format. As a result, this policy was never implemented on Caroline South. As Tom Lodge recalls, over
the page, it was not strictly adhered to on Caroline North either.
The cover is below but, as can be seen, the carbon-copied print has become smudged and blurred with the passage of time. The rest of the
