comments about the Hall of Fame
: Nice list!!! Been researching about 60/70s DJ Bruce Benson.
Have been lead to believe that he worked on Caroline in 1969/70. Any ideas?
(Web-master's note: Caroline was not on the air during
1969/70, except for the short period in 1970 when Radio Northsea International changed
its name to Caroline. No recollection of a Bruce Benson.)

comments about the Hall of Fame
: The Offshore Radio stations...The Offshore Radio stations...It's 28 years ago
almost to the date, on 31 August 1974, when the last Radio Northsea and Radio Veronica
programs sea were transmitted from sea. In 1980, the Mi Amigo, the old Radio Caroline ship,
sank and in November 1990 came the last transmission from the last Radio Caroline ship, the
Ross Revenge. But fans are still listening to their tapes... At the newsgroup nl.media.radio.zeezenders
This is the reason why some people have decided to set up a download club where the members
can download old tapes! Members pay only € 10 a year. From the membership fees,
we've set up a download server, from where members can download the tapes. The members get
at least 4 hours of offshore radio each week. We bring you the memories of Laser, Radio London,
SRE, Radio Veronica, Radio Mi Amigo, Radio Northsea International, Radio Caroline and all the
other stations that transmitted from the Northsea. ot people are writing about their experiences
when they were young.
(Web-master's note, May 2004: The Download Club is
now known as The
Offshore Radio Archive.)
