Caroline is towed away.

Radio historian Hans Knot has sent us these memorable photos of the mv Fredericia, the Caroline North ship, being towed into IJmuiden harbour in Holland. They were taken by Chris Vermeulen. Hans says: “Chris didn't know that the ship would be entering the harbour, towed by the Wijsmuller Company's tug Titan. He just saw a ship with a big mast and luckily had a camera with him. If you look closely you can also see another towing vessel, the Nestor.” With enormous thanks to both Chris Vermeulen and Hans Knot.
