Radio London's fortieth birthday was on 23rd December 2004. The run up to Christmas is a busy time so the celebrations were delayed until a more convenient date: 26th February 2005. Even then, many
of the Big L DJs found that they had other commitments which caused them to miss the party. So it was a small but select group that gathered on board the T.S Queen Mary, a floating bar and conference centre moored on
the Thames in central London. The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame gratefully thanks Chris and Mary Payne for organising the event and for inviting us to the party.
