Radio News, 14th March 1967

For nine weeks in 1967 the London Weekly Advertiser magazine contained a three or four page supplement, Radio News.

This insert to the main paper reported news and carried features about the offshore radio stations then operating around the British coast.

On this and the next few pages you can find some cuttings from the ninth and final issue, dated 14th March 1967.

From the following week some offshore radio stories were carried in the news magazine Time & Tide, which was published by the same company, but the coverage was nothing like as extensive. There are some Time & Tide cuttings here.

This copy of the magazine was kindly provided by Mike Lewis.
