The fans' memorabilia - Rob Olthof

The mv Mi Amigo, December 1972

At the end of December 1972 a ‘mutiny’ took place on board Radio Caroline over the non-payment of the crew's wages (see Caroline In The Seventies). In the early hours of 30th December Captain van der Kamp arranged for the mv Mi Amigo to be brought into land where the ship was impounded. These photos by Rob Olthof show the vessel being towed into IJmuiden harbour by the Eurotrip tender. Again our thanks to Hans Knot. Click on each photo to enlarge.
