The Caroline “Sounds Of '65” chart,
11th December 1965*

Jempi Laevaert collects pop charts of the sixties. You can see a number of them on his website, The Stonewashed Collection. He has very kindly provided some offshore charts for us. We start with the Top 50 from a Radio Caroline South Sounds Of '65 chart.

The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame has put together a Spotify playlist of this chart. You can find it here. Unfortunately not all the songs are available on Spotify but most of them are and we hope it brings back good memories.

* When he donated this chart to The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame, Jempi told us it was from 18th December 1965 so that is how we billed it. However it seems he has since revised his opinion because it is dated 11th December on his website. We have now amended it here too.

Many thanks to Jempi for sharing this chart. For more Radio Caroline charts, see his website, The Stonewashed Collection.

The Radio London Fab Forty for the same week is here. The (Radio) City Sixty is here.

The links from the songs on this page lead to the Amazon MP3 Store where you can hear short audio clips of the tracks and customers in the UK can buy downloads. Please see this note.

There are a number of other offshore charts listed on The Pirate Radio Hall of Fame. Full details here.

The previous Caroline chart we have is from 1st August 1964. The next one in our collection is from 15th January 1966.
